Leadership & Communication Workshops

Service Description

Master the art of persuasion and influence in a supportive learning environment. Participate in a yearly series of half-day leadership and communication workshops to refine your interpersonal skills, develop effective communication strategies, and strengthen your professional relationships. Part 1 - Fundamentals of Leadership & Communication Learn the basic principles of leadership and communication, leadership and communication styles, best practices for new leaders, dive into fun activities, and meet some new people! Part 2 - Developing Confidence in Yourself In this workshop, the focus will be on building self-confidence. Topics will include assertiveness, overcoming the fear of public speaking, and projecting a confident image. Part 3 - Navigating Difficult Conversations as Leaders As leaders, whether seasoned or new, we must be comfortable with being uncomfortable. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to appropriately and respectfully deliver difficult feedback, how to conduct a proper performance evaluation, how to develop performance objectives, and navigate conflicts within the workplace or life in general. Workshops will be conducted based on participant interest - dates TBD. Workshop format will vary (in-person, hybrid, or fully online via Zoom). Presented by Dr. Sabrina L.
